Spring Chicks Egg Carton Craft

• Kwik Stix
• Glue
• Scissors
• Markers
• Construction Paper

• Directions:

1. Cut apart two egg holders from the carton and trim off the excess on the edges.
2. Glue the two pieces together.
3. Paint your chick any color you would like.
4. Use a marker to draw on the eyes for your spring chick.
5. Using orange construction paper, cut out a break for your chick.
6. You can even cut out a feather to put on the top of your chick as shown in the image above.

Paper Plate Watermelon Craft

Watermelon Paper Plate Craft

• Small Black Beans
• Craft Glue
• Scissors

• Directions:

1. First, cut your plate in half to create the two halves of a watermelon.
2. Next, use the green and red Kwik Stix to paint your watermelon.
3. Once the paint has dried, glue some of the small black beans onto your plate to be the watermelon seeds.

• Gold Glitter
• Scissors
• Glue

• Directions:
1. Cut out a pot using the black construction paper and glue it on to a piece of white construction paper.
2. Next, use the Kwik Stix to paint the different colors of the rainbow coming from the pot of gold all the way to the bottom of the paper.
3. After you have finished your rainbow, add a few shamrocks throughout your art piece.
4. Now it is time to add the part that will make your piece come together...time to add the gold glitter!
5. Lightly put glue on the upper portion of the pot and sprinkle glitter over the glue.
6. Now let it all dry and you have yourself a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow just in time for St. Patrick's Day!

Cork Sail Boats

• Patterned Scrapbook Paper

• Directions:

1. First, line up 3 corks and secure them together using two thick rubber bands.
2. Using a nail, create a hole in the center of the cork wharf.
3. Push in a toothpick or wooden dowel into the hole.
4. Using another toothpick or dowel, create an outline on a piece of paper for your said.
5. Now use your outline to cut out the shape of your sail using the patterned paper.
6. Finally, stick the top and bottom of the sail through the wooden dowel and your sail boat is complete.

It is now time to set sail!
